Sam Howard (class of 2019) just finished his second varsity season with the Lakota West boys interscholastic soccer team. He led the team with 55 goals this year establishing a new single-season record. The previous high of 34 goals achieved last year by Rhys Johnson (class of 2017) had stood as both the previous single-season and career record since last year was the first year sanctioned by the OHSAA and the Lakota Athletic department as a fully sanctioned interscholastic sport. Howard now holds the career record with 83 goals and still has his senior season remaining.
