On behalf of Lakota West Athletic Department, our coaches and staff, we want to welcome you to the our new athletics website. We have developed a fresh and exciting online look for our students, parents and alumni.
The new site is more interactive and offers additional and varied features than its predecessor. Visitors will find greater information about teams and individual student-athletes. We hope to offer a more enjoyable experience for our readers in multiple sports cutting across all three sports seasons from fall to winter to spring. WestFirebirds.com will be temporary pointed to gowestfirebirds.com until we have all information transferred over from our old platform to the new platform. We plan on having everything running normally by early July. In the meantime, enjoy getting familiar with the new site.
Although the framework is up and running, we still have some minor tweaking to do on multiple pages across the new site. Please note we are working on those issues while providing our fan base an enjoyable experience.
The Athletic Department is very excited to have the ability to provide additional information for students, parents and visitors. We appreciate your patience and hope that you find our new site to be more informative from rosters, stats, pictures, videos and additional information. The athletic department is excited to offer ad space to businesses around our community. The site is far from complete, however, and will be a work in progress over the next few months.
