Firebird Frosh Ellie Myers (shown above) captured third place honors in this spring’s Hickory Woods Golf Club Junior tournament to launch  her summer season.  Her score of 3 over par 85 on the 5385 yard par 70 Hickory Wood’s layout  was just three strokes, and in third place behind the tournament winner, Demi Xie’s 82.

Myers is preparing for her fall season with the Lakota West varsity team in early August, when she returns as a member the Firebird team in August  following selection to the All GMC Second Team in 2018.
