Boys Golf Tryout Info:

2020 Lakota West Boy’s Golf Try-Out Information
Try-out Dates: August 3rd and August 4th
Check-In with Coach Conway: 30 minutes before first tee time in clubhouse for paperwork drop-off and foursome assignments

Try-Out Course and Phone Number:
-Walden Ponds Golf Course will be played day 1 day of try-outs. Phone number: 513-785-2994

-The Grizzly Golf Course will be played day 2 of try-outs.

*I encourage everyone to play these courses during the summer so you will be prepared for try-outs and the season.

Monday, August 3rd: Walden Ponds Golf Course
Cost: $27
First Tee Time: 10:00am

Tuesday, August 4th: The Grizzly Golf Course
Cost: $24.50
First Tee Time: 11:00am

Things you need to try-out:

1) A current physical and all FINAL FORMS completed on-line. Paperwork can be completed on-line from Lakota West Athletic website. NO PHYSICAL = NO TRY-OUT
2) Contact Coach Conway: cell phone: 513-305-2723 or email: chris.conway@lakotaonline.com to confirm a try-out spot. Please leave name, number and grade!!!
3) Proper golf attire/soft spike shoes required (golfers will walk 18 holes each day)
4) Cash for your greens fees each day

Everyone will try out on all 3 days.  The cost for each day is listed also.
I will have tee times mailed out so you will know when you are playing.
Wear golf attire.
Bring water, towel, Umbrella if weather looks questionable and snacks
Don’t forget to complete Final Forms.

Important Things to Do/Know
1. Non-Mandatory practices will take place winter and spring for anyone interested in playing on the golf team.

2. EVERYONE must have a physical before they can tryout. Bring Physical forms with you to tryouts ( or give it to Coach Coffey any time before tryouts)

3. Pull carts are permitted for all high school tryouts/ matches / tournaments. Players and parents wear proper golf attire at all times. (no tank tops or denim) Parents are welcome to follow their daughters at all events.
