The Firebirds faced off against a very good Oak Hills softball team to conclude conference play in 2021. The game marked the second time that the Lady Firebirds and the Highlanders played against each other this year, with West looking for the season sweep having already defeating Oak Hills 3-2. West pulled away in the 4th inning eventually beating the Highlanders 9-3. The Firebirds finished conference competition 18-0 in the GMC games (25-1 overall). This was Coach Castner’s 7th league title and the first time going undefeated in GMC play. Congratulations to the the LW Softball Program. #RoadToAkron
